Over the last few years, since we graduated from CBC, we have had the privilege of ministering all over the world. We’ve visited churches, other bible colleges, youth weekends, women’s meetings, and men’s breakfasts. We’ve spoken, encouraged, lead worship and ministered in every way we can and we’ve been blessed to be a blessing.
One of the things that has been amazing has been how God has provided the finance for us to be able to do all these things.
We are currently salaried with AWME/CBC but God has been faithful to ensure that a lack of money hasn’t stopped us from taking the good news around the world.
Finance is an important part of the ministry, indeed Jesus spoke about finance more than almost any other issue, but we don't seem to like to talk about it. In the bible it says:
"How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!"
(Rom 10:14-15)
Sadly so often people can be hindered by finances, but that isn't God's plan. God doesn't counterfeit money, he calls us to all get on board with his plan as we sow into the lives of other believers, some to go and some to send. Whichever part we play we are key in the delivering the gospel message and encouraging the body of Christ.
